Shameless Screen to Release Designated Victim

According to the Amazon website Shameless Screen Entertainment are set to release Maurizio Lucidi's Designated Victim on the 28th July 2008. In the words of Shameless the film represents..

"a true high point in 70s Italian thriller cinema, this inspired remake of Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train from director Maurizio Lucidi is able to push the concept of the original movie into something far more unbearably tense and deliciously twisted. Shot in a mist-wreathed eerily beautiful Venice this near dream-like melding of thriller with baroque giallo overtones has remained until now a criminally hidden psychological gem."

"Stefano (Thomas Milian; Traffic, Amistad, JFK) needs to sort out his troublesome wife who is seriously cramping his future plans. Also on the subject of Shameless it seems we now have confirmation of the release date for Strip Nude For Your Killer which is due to hit the shelves on 25th August along with Oasis Of Fear while What Have They Done To Your Daughters? is due for release on the 26th of this month.
